The “I Am” of Jesus

Blog In Audio:

Greetings,

As leaders we lead people to know Jesus, to be transformed by Jesus, and to partner with Jesus for the will of the Father in the earth. Jesus came to our world as the word made flesh. He was fully man, but He was also fully God. He acknowledged that He was God, but He gave His life as the Son of Man for all of mankind.

John 8:58 Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.”

Jesus made it possible for us all to be a dwelling place of God by His Spirit. Whether we are men or women, we are called sons of God in Christ. Those who are led by the Spirit are sons. Holy Spirit is a sevenfold Spirit and Holy Spirit testifies of the name of Jesus. He testifies of the salvation that we find through Jesus’ name in the testimony of the body of Christ.

Jesus made seven confessions as to His identity and those seven realities influence our lives with the testimony of God’s saving grace.

John 6:35 And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.”

Jesus is the bread of life. He is the bread that gives us life. He is the Lord. The Spirit of the Lord empowers us to live on every word and expression of Jesus in our lives. He is the bread that we live upon that we might also become life to our world.

John 8:12 Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”

Jesus is the light. He is the wisdom that leads us from today to tomorrow. Holy Spirit leads us into the path of light by the Spirit of Wisdom in our hearts. We walk by faith in Jesus’ name.

John 10:7 Then Jesus said to them again, “Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep.”

Jesus is the door. He is our access to heavenly things. He transforms our lives through an understanding that surpasses our own. Holy Spirit transforms our hearts and minds by the Spriit of Understanding made known by being one in peace with God.

John 10:11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep.”

Jesus is the good shepherd. He is the counsel that leads us into the life-giving authority of Christ. Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Counsel that testifies of the authority of the good shepherd in our lives.

John 11:25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.”

Holy Spirit empowers our lives by the Spirit of Might. This is not the strength of the flesh but a testimony of who we are in the works of Christ according to His resurrection life. To be clothed in Him is to be clothed in His resurrection.

John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”

Jesus leads us into the testimony of community. We are one with God, and we are one with one another by the knowledge of His love. Holy Spriit leads us by the Spirit of Knowledge that gives us an identity, testimony, and purpose as the family of God.

John 15:1 “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser.”

Jesus is in the Father, and the Father is in Him. He is the vine and the Father is the vinedresser. We are branches called to bear fruit for God’s glory. Holy Spirit leads us in the purpose of the Father’s will. The Spirit of the Fear of the Lord empowers us to open the door of our hearts to a partnership with God in all things to bear the fruit of His will in the earth.

Leaders lead in a way that enables us all to grow in knowing the fullness of Jesus in our lives. Jesus is the living bread; He is the light; He is the door, He is the good shepherd; He is the resurrection; He is the way, the truth, and the life; and He is the vine for the fruit of the Father’s kingdom and will in our lives. When we are led by Holy Spirit we grow in the realities of this great and wonderful salvation in Christ.
