Jesus Has Come

Blog In Audio:

   Greetings,

God loves everyone in the world and the Spirit of God is calling each and everyone to come to God in Christ. The true testimony is only found when we invite the testimony of Christ within our hearts. This is the Spirit of Christ whom the world cannot receive.

John 14:15 “If you love Me, keep My commandments. 16 And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— 17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. 18 I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.”

Jesus was God with His disciples, but He promised He would also be in them after His death and resurrection. He made a distinction between them and the world. He desires that all the world would believe, but only those who seek Him will find Him. When we choose to have a personal relationship with God in our lives, He is faithful to come to us.

John 20:19 Then, the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them, “Peace be with you.” 20 When He had said this, He showed them His hands and His side. Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord. 21 So Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.” 22 And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit.

The death of Jesus upon the cross has secured peace for all mankind. There is now a way for us to see God for who He really is. He is our loving Father and He wants to have a relationship with us in all things. He gives life, breath, and all things. When Jesus breathed upon disciples in the room, I believe the Spirit of God was able to be received. They had to open their hearts to receive the Spirit of Christ within.  We must not be deceived to merely living human lives for our own human dreams and desires. We are called to greater things. We are called to live for the glory of God! This is only possible by the supernatural presence and power of Christ within.

1 John 4:1 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.  2 By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, 3 and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world. 4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. 5 They are of the world. Therefore they speak as of the world, and the world hears them. 6 We are of God. He who knows God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.

It is the Spirit that confesses Jesus Christ has come into your flesh, that is of God. This is the internal witness of life and this is what separates us from the world. Everyone in the world is welcome to come, but each one must come to God in Christ. Only Christ in you is the greater power. It is the power of the resurrection life of God working within. It is not merely the spirit that says Jesus came in the form of flesh two thousand years ago, but the spirit that acknowledges Christ in humanity. Christ in humanity is the testimony of Jesus, the Lord, coming into our own personal lives. Any voice of God to us will be witnessed by the life-giving Spirit of Christ within us. We must willingly receive Him to be internally empowered to confess our believing Him. The internal motivator is the Holy Spirit who has been sent in Jesus name to bear witness to the One whose name is above all other names in every progressing age to come. As leaders, we must lead others into the truth of the internal reality of the power of Jesus name. This is the power of Jesus in the flesh of those who believe!
