A Call to Reconciliation

    Greetings,

As we navigate this new year of 2019, I believe there are some prophetic keys to finding the paths of God. God wants us to become an influence of life in this world in a greater way. As influencers of life we are not here to condemn what is not life. What is not life is already condemned and needs the hope of a new day. God sees all people as His children, but a disconnection from God and a disconnection from His love has blinded the sons and daughters of the world from seeing God for who He really is. We have a mandate. We have a revelation that we have been reconciled to God through Jesus and as members of the body of Christ we are sent to this world as ministers of reconciliation. In order to walk as ambassadors of life in a world of death we must find the paths of God that allow us to manifest who we really are.

2 Corinthians 5:14 For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; 15 and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.

All have died in Christ and are no longer bound to live according to an administration of the knowledge of good and evil. Though we are no longer bound to live in the old informative administration, most choose to remain there. The administration of transformation is only found by those who seek to life for Christ. Humanity has been granted the right to return to intimacy with God in Christ and live lives envisioned, infused, and empowered by the tree of Life. We are not here to judge anyone according to the flesh, but to invite them to live lives empowered by the love of God made known within their hearts. Many choose to live lives according to the flesh, but we are here to call them out of darkness into the marvelous light of Christ. As leaders we must lead those given to our leadership to this cause in life.

2 Corinthians 5:16 Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer. 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

As leaders we set an example that others can see that inspires them to embrace a life that is different than their past lives that were bound to things of death in the world. This does not mean that we set examples of perfection, but examples of vulnerability, transparency, love, hope, and faith that allows all things to work towards the goodness of God in all things in our lives. We have been reconciled to God and our role in life is to live our lives as ambassadors of the internal kingdom of heaven in external ways to those in the world that has been given to us in this path of life.

2 Corinthians 5:18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, 19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.

Our mandate as sons and daughters of God is to invite all to discover the revelation of God’s love that grants all people the power of His mercy and grace. This is the role of the true light of life to the world. This is the testimony of being the people of God in the earth. It is not having the exclusive rights of some elite cause of predestination, but a holy privilege to invite all to discover the mystery of their own predestination in Christ.

2 Corinthians 5:20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. 21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

We are not here to judge sinners, we are here to help them find the revelation that sin has already been judged in their lives and therefore no longer holds them bound to live lives that are bound to natural, sensual, or demonic inspiration. The freedom of life has been given to all in Christ. This is the way of God, a much better way than the way of law, the way of sin, or the way of anything that can only lead to death. God’s way is the way of the Father’s love for His children. We cannot be distracted by the things that hold the attentions of the world. We must keep our eyes on Christ and be the light of Christ to the world.

I feel that Psalms chapter 37 is very significant to this year. I have already written that this is a year to sow and to reap. It doesn’t matter what the present circumstances are, if we sow from the life of the kingdom of heaven we will reap heavenly rewards by finding the paths that God has set before us to navigate this new season. We must sow the testimony of who we really are for the sake of others finding the truth of who God is and the truth of who they are in His-story in the earth.

Psalms 37:1 Do not fret because of evildoers, nor be envious of the workers of iniquity. 2 For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.

It is easy to fret about the things that those in the way of the world do, but this is not to be the focus of our attention. We are ambassadors of Christ and we should shine as the light of life. We should shine in the night and set a path that others can follow and find their way to safety and destiny in the midst of the night.
