Greetings;
The revelations of God today are connected to the revelations of God in the lives of others before us. This is not just the revelation given to those in the Book of Acts. It is the revelation of God given to our fathers, mothers, grandfathers, and grandmothers. There has always been hungry people who desire to know God. Born again humanity has not been living disconnected from God. Yes, our understanding of God and our interpretation and application of all that He says should grow in the successive generations of those who draw near to Him, but we are not the magic, finally understanding generation of mankind. We are simply another step in the journey of destiny. The calling of Christ, the inheritance of Christ, and the power of Christ are realities of the growing mountain of God that is rising in the nations of the earth. Our present is connected to the foundations and the ceilings of past generations. What we know and do today will produce the substance of destiny for the generations of tomorrow. What we run with today will place a baton in the hand of those who run tomorrow. The race that we are running is not an individual race of personal success, it is an endurance race of inheritance and destiny. As leaders in the body of Christ, we are not leading for today. We are leading today for the sake of tomorrow.
God has called us to be a spiritual house for His habitation. The revelation of God given in each generation is for the sake of His habitation in the generations of mankind. The history of the church has brought about a continual reformation to the church, the place where heaven’s grace invades the earth. Our spiritual fathers have opened an effective door for the earth to find the grace of the Spirit of the Lord that enlightens human hearts to know the just live by faith. Those before us have opened the door of true wisdom in that we know we are sanctified unto God and our works are works of faith towards God. Those works are empowered by the Spirit of Wisdom and they make us different than mere people of the world. Humanity without God is humanity without the wisdom of God to move forward in the destiny of life. We have inherited an increasing grace of heavenly testimonies in the fact that there is growing external evidence of supernatural things from heaven. The Spirit of Understanding is giving us a testimony of being a witness of heavenly things. We are submerged in the Holy Spirit of God to be the holy people of God. We can know that we are the body of Christ and the life-giving authority of Christ is causing us to grow in the testimony of the laying on of hands and the ministry of Christ’s true authority of life. The Spirit of Counsel is empowering us to bring light to darkness, healing to sickness, and life to death in growing measures. Body ministry is a growing reality in the church. We have inherited a huge value for hearing God, speaking God’s word, and experiencing God’s manifest presence in our lives. The Spirit of Might has granted us a grace of being awake to God in new measures. Others paid a price for us to have such things in our hands. We are now experiencing a growing reality of the community of God, the communion of God and believers, and intimacy that comes by the Spirit of Knowing in our lives. We are not smarter than past generations, we are simply living in increasing benefits of those who lived before us. Each generation before us has laid hold of essential foundations of life. We should grow in being justified by faith, works that speak of our faith, testimonies that come by being submerged in Christ, authority of body ministry, revelation of God’s voice and presence in our lives, and in brotherly love in new levels and dimensions of intimacy with God and one another.
God is reconfirming the foundations of our lives. Those foundations are set in the rock of Christ. They are the unshakeable stones of life. They are life-giving and grow in the generations of Christ-centered destiny. We must embrace our responsibility as leaders in a multigeneration way and we must always remember that we are not smart, we are simply in the path of God where God is good!
God open the eyes of our hearts that we might increasingly know the hope of Christ’s calling, the riches of His inheritance in our multigenerational journey, and the supernatural power of His life in our mandate of glory to increasingly transform the world in which we live. Amen.
