Our Part In His Path

    Greetings,

Leadership serves a role of example, inspiration, and facilitation to the destiny of that which they have been sent to lead. As leaders, we must become an example for others to follow. We demonstrate the possibilities and the probabilities of destiny. We demonstrate being loved, loving God, and loving the generations of His glorious name. We are the first to respond to His calling, the first to exhibit His inheritance, and the first to demonstrate His power. We grow in knowing our identity, in exhibiting a testimony of His overcoming grace, and in a demonstration of His power that confirms our path as one of truth and dominion for the glory of His name.

Ephesians 1:18 …the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, 19 and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power 20 which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, 21 far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. 22 And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, 23 which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.

I have already written that true identity doesn’t come from the testimony of our natural birth. True identity comes from the place of God’s presence in our lives. Our calling in life is to find our place in the destiny of the calling of Christ. This comes by receiving God’s transforming life within our hearts. It is there that God changes our beliefs. When He transforms the beliefs of our hearts, it inspires changed actions in our lives. The way we act determines what we think about and this in turn increases our influence in the power of those changed beliefs in our hearts. That power doesn’t just affect our own lives, it becomes part of an inheritance in Christ that brings life to others. The power of our actions is a demonstration of His testimony in our hearts. We are a part of His inheritance in the earth to bring changes in the world we live in and in the world we leave behind to the next generations.

As leaders, we must set an example for others to follow in becoming a testimony of Christ. We are an example to those we lead that all might become a testimony of the riches found in Christ. When we are transformed by God’s grace, we carry a testimony that can bring life to others. We can release an inheritance that others can receive, experience, and walk in. In the 16th century believers paid a price to know that we are justified by faith in Christ. The grace of the Spirit of the Lord brought an inheritance of a repentance unto life that testified of the just living by faith and it brought an increasing power of glory to all of humanity. Martin Luther and others paid a price to overcome for the sake of others. We are still reaping the rewards and walking in the increased inheritance given to us by God through the reformation of the 16th century. When those in the Great Awakening were transformed by a grace of the Spirit of Wisdom they demonstrated living lives of faith towards God and it open an effective door of increase to all who follow in Christ. More than 150 denominations birthed in the Great Awakening were not a mark of division, but of personal transformation that spawned works of faith in manifold ways. Without the price paid by those who overcame the resistance to their beliefs we would not have the measure of faith that is accessible to all in Christ today. The diverse works that speak of our faith today have a direct connection to the foundation set in the path of reformation that was opened in the past. There is a continual reformation taking place in the earth that is releasing increased measures of the inheritance of Christ to humanity. A price was paid for the external expressions of supernatural testimonies. A price was paid for others to be able to enjoy the riches of ministering to one another in the life-giving authority of Christ’s life. A price was paid for an increasing grace of hearing God’s voice, proclaiming God’s voice, and experiencing God’s presence in freeing and intimate ways. We are increasingly finding our identity, our testimony, and our path of destiny in Christ. It is for the sake of bringing heaven’s change to the earth. We are walking in the increasing grace of life in Christ, but we are on the brink of opening an effective door of inheritance for an increased liberty in the body of Christ. We know we have experienced life when we can give life to others, but we will also know we have experienced true liberty when we can bring true liberty to others. Liberty is not freedom in our iniquities, it is freedom from our iniquities. True freedom is overcoming the iniquities of our hearts that empowers us to lead others into the same path of truth and dominion.

Food For Thought,
