We are in a season where God wants to give to us a greater revelation of who we are in Christ. We are the people of God! As the people of God, we are called, appointed, and anointed to reveal the person of God in the earth and to fulfill the purpose of God among the nations. This can only happen when we see God as our Father. He gives us life, breath, and all things. He cares for us and gives us the true identity of life. He is there for us and empowers us to overcome all things. He doesn’t just rescue us from our enemies, He empowers us to overcome them. He doesn’t just meet our needs, He empowers us to become those who meet the needs of others. He fights for us in that He calls us sons and daughters standing in the power of Jesus name. As leaders, we must lead the body of Christ in the path of the calling of Christ, the inheritance of Christ, and the power of the family name in Christ.
This is a season of partnership! It is a season of partnership with faith, hope, and love. It is also a season of partnerships with others for the sake of God’s purposes in the earth. It is connection with others that we will enable us to discover the increasing testimony of the partnership of faith, hope and love.
In Jesus, we find the anointing that causes us to become free people, planted in the earth for the generational purposes of God’s kingdom in the nations. Trees of righteousness in Christ are being planted in order to build, raise up, and make things new in the earth. As leaders, we must lead others for the sake of partnerships with God and with one another. The essential ingredients for this to happen are; faith, hope, and love.
Isaiah 61:4b – 5 …“That they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.” And they shall rebuild the old ruins, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the ruined cities, the desolations of many generations.
God’s heart and plan is one of restoration. He is a redeemer, a reconciler, a restorer, a rewarder, and a replenisher in His ways. He doesn’t just love those who love Him. He loves all people. He is a multigenerational God. He sees each and everyone as His son or daughter. He is the Father of Abraham, the Father of Isaac, the Father of Jacob, and the Father of Israel. He is the Father of Paul, the Father of Timothy, the Father of faithful men, and the Father of others also. He looks for those who will partner with Him in each and every generation. When we partner with God we also partner with the future and with the past.
Matthew 13:52 Then He said to them, “Therefore every scribe instructed concerning the kingdom of heaven is like a householder who brings out of his treasure things new and old.”
When we partner with God we allow God to write His purpose and His will upon our hearts. We become the parchment of His letter. We are not the ones who do the writing. We are the ones who become willing parchment in the hand of the Master writer, our Father in heaven. Each of us are like trees. We contain the roots of our past and within us is the substance of the future. Like a tree, our branches extend to places we have not known before to bear fruit that is relevant for each and every new season. When we partner with God we embrace a calling in Christ, a testimony of Christ, and a destiny of His name. It begins with a willingness to receive His love. When we know His love, we experience His life. When we know He loves us, we hear His words in our hearts and we respond with heavenly testimonies of His overcoming grace. It is a journey of faith towards God that is demonstrated with the testimonies of our lives. That faith demonstrates the power of God’s love in our lives and it inspires more faith. It inspires us to believe for the passion of things that we could not possess before. We have hope for a destiny of restoration. That hope extends beyond our today into our future. Old ruins are brought back into purpose by God’s love. Things that were desolate rise up and overcome by the inspiration of God’s voice in our hearts. The testimony of the family name is rebuilt through a vision of a greater name than any name we stand upon. It is a partnership of faith, hope, and love that reveals a path of destiny in Christ.
We are part of a family that has a multigenerational destiny. The ceiling of the past is in the floor of the present and the present is rising higher to be found in the floor of the next generation. The floor keeps getting deeper, stronger, and more filled with the treasures of the past, thus the building rises to an increased glory of destiny. The ancient is in the new and the new is able to build upon the increasing strength of the foundation. New things are unlocked in the destiny of who we are in Christ and old things are continually new. This is the story of a 3rd and 4th generation destiny that transforms beliefs, actions, imaginations, and influences in the earth. As leaders, we must lead the family of God into this path. The manifest presence of God in our lives today is essential to unlock the door to the path set before us and to embracing the ancient things set in the foundation of our family name.
